About Us

Romans 12:4-6
For just as in one body we have many members, and not all the members serve the same function, so we who are many are one body in Christ, and individually we are members who belong to one another. And we have different gifts according to the grace given to us.

We are all called to serve - we are all called to be a part of the body of Christ, an active part of a living, thriving body. Last year the Kirk Session established new task groups. With support of the wider congregation we are achieving more than ever before. The groups also host regular congregational lunches, which are a great opportunity for fellowship and a chance to get to know each other better

We are privileged to have partnerships with Zomba CCP Church in Malawi and Barlanark Greyfriers Church, in an urban priority area of Glasgow. Closer to home, our Kirk Session has established the Osprey Youth Project to take forward work with young people in our community. We have now appointed a part-time Christian Youth Worker, John Allan, for three years from June 2011.

With Peebles Churches Together, we annually help raise money for Christian Aid and share in united worship. We are also pleased to host Chattabox, an annual holiday club for Primary age children.

These are just a few of the many things happening. Explore our Worship and What's On pages to get a broader view. We are also interested in hearing what you think. You can tell us here.
